The plateau sits on Giza's western edge, about 13 km from central Cairo and 2 km from the Grand Egyptian Museum. General admission covers the grounds and the Sphinx; entering a pyramid is a separate ticket, and only two of the three are open inside at any time (Khufu is always open). Arrive early to beat the heat and the tour buses — and note that drones are not allowed.
