Among the great connecting highways built across Egypt is the 30 June Axis, a long road corridor that links the country from the Delta in the west to the Suez Canal and the Red Sea in the east. Cutting across northern Egypt, it ties together farmland, cities, the canal zone, and the coast, making it far faster to move people and goods across the country and supporting trade, industry, and the development of new communities along its route.
من الطرق السريعة الرابطة الكبرى المبنيّة عبر مصر محور 30 يونيو، ممرٌّ طرقي طويل يربط البلاد من الدلتا غربًا إلى قناة السويس والبحر الأحمر شرقًا. وإذ يشقّ شمال مصر، يربط الأراضي الزراعية والمدن ومنطقة القناة والساحل، فيجعل نقل الناس والبضائع عبر البلاد أسرع بكثير، ويدعم التجارة والصناعة وتنمية مجتمعاتٍ جديدة على طول مساره.

The 30 June Axis is a long, broadly east–west road corridor running across the north of the country. It connects the Nile Delta in the west with the Suez Canal region and the Red Sea coast in the east, passing the Greater Cairo area along the way. By linking these regions directly, it provides a fast route for traffic that previously had to wind through congested towns and older roads.

Like many of Egypt's new axes, the 30 June road does more than move traffic — it opens up land along its route for farming, industry, and new settlement. Fast links between the Delta's farmland, the canal's ports and industrial zones, and the Red Sea coast support trade and logistics, complementing megaprojects like the New Delta and the canal-zone development. The corridor helps turn previously empty or hard-to-reach areas into productive, connected parts of the economy.

The 30 June Axis is one of a series of major new axes built across Egypt during a decade of intensive roadbuilding, alongside corridors like the Rod El Farag Axis and many others.
