Ancient sculptors

Thutmose:
An ancient Egyptian sculptor who flourished around 1350 BC and is known for his work in the Amarna style during the reign of Pharaoh Akhenaten. The discovery of his workshop and belongings, including a carved ivory horse blinker, confirmed his identity and profession.
Unknown artists:
Many of the most famous ancient Egyptian sculptures, like the statue of King Menkaura and queen or the Bust of Nefertiti, were created by unnamed artists whose names are lost to time. These works are often found in tombs and temples and were made for funerary purposes or to honor gods and royalty.
Ancient techniques:

الفن المصري القديم

النحت
اشتهر بالنحت الضخم، ومن أشهر الأمثلة تمثال أبو الهول وتمثال رمسيس الثاني. اعتمد المصريون القدماء على أدوات بسيطة مثل الأزاميل والمطارق والأسافين الخشبية لقطع النحت في الحجر الصلب.
الرسم
تميزت الرسوم بأنها ثنائية وثلاثية الأبعاد، وكانت تُستخدم لتزيين المقابر والمعابد، وكثيرًا ما صورت مشاهد دينية أو من الحياة اليومية.
