For all its towers and ambition, New Alamein is still, at heart, a city on one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Its Mediterranean shore offers the famous turquoise water and soft white sand of the North Coast, lined by a long seafront corniche for strolling and relaxing. Notably — and unusually for the region — many of New Alamein's beaches are kept open to the public, making this stretch of coast welcoming to everyone.

Running along the shore is a long international corniche — a seafront promenade reported to stretch around 14 kilometres, comparable in length to the famous corniche of Alexandria. This generous waterfront walk gives residents and visitors a beautiful place to stroll, cycle, and relax by the Mediterranean, connecting the city's beaches, towers, and marinas into one continuous coastal front.
