As Egypt's administration moves to the New Capital, the world's representatives are set to follow. The Diplomatic Quarter is the district planned to host the embassies and diplomatic missions of foreign countries, gathering them together in one secure, purpose-built area of the new city. Locating the diplomatic community close to the seat of government is a natural part of establishing the new capital as the country's true administrative and political centre.

The Diplomatic Quarter is the area of the New Capital set aside for foreign embassies and diplomatic missions. By bringing the diplomatic community into a single dedicated district, the plan aims to provide modern, secure premises for the world's representatives and to make the new city a fully functioning political capital. The quarter is designed to sit conveniently near the Government District, keeping diplomats close to the ministries and institutions they engage with.
