Running the length of Egypt's Red Sea coast from Suez to the Sudanese border, this governorate is built around its reefs. Hurghada anchors the north as Egypt's original dive resort city, while Marsa Alam and El Qoseir offer quieter access to some of the world's richest coral reef systems.
تمتد هذه المحافظة على طول ساحل البحر الأحمر المصري من السويس حتى الحدود السودانية، وتتمحور حول شعابها المرجانية. ترسو الغردقة في الشمال كأول مدينة منتجع للغوص في مصر، بينما توفر مرسى علم والقصير وصولاً أهدأ إلى بعض أغنى أنظمة الشعاب المرجانية في العالم.
